Heya guys, I raced up there 'bout 2 years ago a couple of times, and regardless of all good intentions never got the time to get back. The Scorpion is still in the driveway and it's time to move it on.

Aside from being an unusual vehicle, and pretty cool in my opinion, it's also got brand new 14" off road tyres, which I used only once up there, and for all intents and purposes are brand new (they're a road compound so should last for years).

I had also intended to build it up as a semi legit speedway car for racing up at Morowa, but never got around to barring it out, however to comply with speedway regs it's got a boat fuel cell in the boot, which is complant with BORMSA regs.

It's an awesome fun car to drive, but is absolutley ideal for someone who really enjoys the ride, rather then for the truely competitive, on the short tracks you only need to change gears once, 1st into 2nd and the 2.6Litre Astron motor has got plenty of tourque for wheel spinning action all the way round the track, and just as it's peaking out thinking you need 3rd you hit a corner. Very easy, Very sideways, Very fun, without all the effort of gear changes!

It comes complete with a virtually new helmet, fire extinguisher and a new set of front shocks (at the recommendation of a course marshall) which i never got around to fitting.

Asisde from a jump start and a bit of fuel down the carby, this thing is ready to race tomorrow!
