CAMS Club Chief Training

CAMS are running training courses for the Club Chief module early in 2014. We can't run BORMSA events without officials and we need to grow the pool of people who can act as Clerk of Course and Steward for our autocross, khanacross and junior motorkhana events. CAMS have recently advised that club and multi-club events need to provide their own Stewards, without whom we cannot run an autocross event.

CLUB CHIEF
A Club Chief licence is for those people with motor sport officiating experience working without supervision, capable of performing the role of Clerk of the Course or Steward role at all BORMSA events. To upgrade your General Officials Licence to attain your Club Chief licence requires officiating in at least two motorsports events, attending the Club Chief Category Module training and completing an event assessment. To keep your licence valid requires acting in a Club Chief role once every 4 years.
