Khanacross (KX) Results - Sunday 13 July 2014

Perfect weather conditions at Beverley on the weekend allowed a strong field of 23 entries to thoroughly enjoy the 13 khanacross tests on offer at BORMSA. Jason and Barry from WA Superlites took advantage of a break in their events to try out the BORMSA tracks with winning times. Tim Ralli showed he hadn't lost any of his KX skills by coming home as first traditional 2WD in the lancer, after battling all day with Pete Dixon's excel, which had an unfortunate clutch issue to end the day on the tow rope. It was great to see Darryn & Ian not only race, but finish, after ten months of extensive repairs, both in the Top 10. Congrats also to the large contingent of first time KX competitors who set some great times and had an enjoyable day.

The next BORMSA events are a Rides Day & Club Open Day on Sunday 10 August, followed by an Autocross on Saturday 30 August.

Thanks to all officials who helped out - especially timekeepers David, Joel and Lani - and well done to Iain on passing his Club Chief assessment. A big thank you to Wayne Sleep for not only helping out at the Busy Bee on Saturday but for spending Sunday carting gravel onto our Autocross tracks in preparation for the upcoming events.
