Entries are now OPEN for the last BORMSA event of 2014 – a Junior Motorkhana, Khanacross and Twilight Khanacross on Saturday 25 October.

Based on a few requests, there is an option to compete in the day-time only portion of the Khanacross at a reduced rate, noting that you’ll only get about 8 runs and there will be no prizes/club championship points for this shorter event (it’s only about seat time and doing some skids). Don’t forget that if you’re racing at night, the track is not illuminated so you will need some functioning headlights and at least one working rear facing red tail-light.

Please let me know if you’re able to help out on the day or if one of your crew can assist with timing. If anyone has a spare generator they could bring along to power the lights at the start of each test that would be appreciated. If you could also let me know if you’re keen to partake in the BBQ, it will help with shopping.

Bear in mind that the weather is starting to warm up in Beverley. We will be reviewing conditions and the forecast closely leading up to the event and aren’t expecting any issues with the event going ahead. In saying that, please let us know if your Bunky has any fire-breathing, spark throwing tendencies as we may need to discuss some modifications to keep the fire risk down.

And last but not least, in keeping with normal practice, any new BORMSA memberships purchased at the last event of the year will be valid for 2015.
