BORMSA Autocross Results - Sunday 19 April

A massive turnout for BORMSA's first autocross of the year saw 40 starters competing in near perfect conditions. Lee McIlroy (in his factory drive courtesy of Daniel Webb) took top honours for the day and a $75 BORMSA voucher with consistently fast times. With less than 20 seconds between the Top 11 cars, it was a close contest, with Lee followed by Garth McGuire, 2014 Club Champion Tim Ralli and Jack Flanagan. Archa Oxley was the top junior home, recording a fastest time of 2:01.65 for the day - impressive!! - and taking 11th outright. Final results after checking are attached.

Many thanks to the large team of officials - Tyne, Ben, Ash, Bryan, Ross, Keith, Rod, Rex, Iain and Shayne - who all helped the day run smoothly. Congrats to Shayne on recovery who was very proud to tow a Ford Escort out behind his Holden, in one of the few breakdowns for the day. Thanks also to John who attended as our paramedic. The $75 raffle draw for all competitors and officials was won by Andrew Jansen.

The next BORMSA event is a Khanacross on Sunday 17 May. Entries will open as soon as the approved Supp Regs are received from CAMS. Please contact Cheryl at president@bormsa.asn.au if you are able to help out at the next event.
