Priority entries are open - BORMSA Autocross - Saturday 24 October

In recognition of the efforts of members who have officiated at an event or participated at a Busy Bee in 2015, priority entries are now open for the BORMSA Autocross on Saturday 24 October. Priority entries are available to those individuals whose name (or in the case of juniors, the name of their parent) appears on a CAMS Officials Sign On sheet for this year. As per the Supp Regs, the official must be a competitor in the vehicle, additional competitors may be included on the entry in the same vehicle. Entries for all other competitors will open on Saturday night (10/10/2015) at 8pm WST.

Please remember that when you submit your entry, you are acknowledging that you have read, agreed and understood the Supplementary Regulations issued for the event (making it impossible for entries to be accepted early!). 2015 entry forms (attached) need to be completed in their entirety (except for signatures) to assist the officials in getting ready.

Email entries need to be sent to entries@bormsa.asn.au. Confirmation emails will be sent out for each entry but this may take a few days.

As usual, we require assistance from flag point marshals, starters, timing officials and recovery, so please let me know if you are able to help out. If there are any Stewards/Club Chiefs out there willing to assist, that would also be welcome.

The weather has started to warm up in Beverley so please ensure your car does not have a fire breathing exhaust or emit random sparks to allow us to manage the fire risk. We will also need a volunteer as fire watch with a tow vehicle to connect the fire trailer to. Please be aware that we may be subject to vehicle movement bans or fire restrictions at this time of year but we will contact all entries and officials prior to the event if we need to cancel.

The BORMSA AGM and Club Championship presentations will be held this year on Saturday 28 November at Whiteman Park; please reserve a spot on your Calendar. More details to follow at the event.

And finally…. good luck to any BORMSA members competing or officiating at the Safari Rally this weekend; have a great event.
