RESULTS for Twilight Khanacross & Autocross

It was great to see some long time BORMSA members back out for some racing... and winning! Congrats to Tim Batten for taking first place in the Twilight Khanacross in his only event for the year. Neal Johnson was doing really well until trapped in the mobile dust cloud that is Cam's commodore but still managed a strong second place. Lee McIlroy grabbed a seat in someone else's car and came away with the win in the Autocross, setting some good sub 2-minute times in the Charade. Ross Burton and Neal Johnson completed the Top 3. Photos are being posted on the BORMSA Facebook page.

NEXT EVENTS - Autocross & Junior Motorkhana (Sunday 15 September)

Supp Regs are being compiled for the next BORMSA events - an Autocross and Junior Motorkhana on Sunday 15 September. Entries will open on issue of the approved documentation by CAMS.

Please let us know ASAP if you can help out as Clerk of Course for either the Autocross or Junior Motorkhana, as we don't want to cancel either event for lack of officials. Help, lunch and money towards expenses are available for volunteers in these key roles. Contact Cheryl (cheryls@iinet.net.au) or Tim (secretary@bormsa.asn.au) if you can assist.

RESULTS - Twilight KX & Autocross (3/4 August)

Results are attached for the Twilight Khanacross & Autocross held on 3/4 August. Congratulations to Justin for taking out the double in the new toy. Honourable mentions to Peter Dixon hammering the Excel around the BORMSA tracks as top 2WD in the KX and 2nd 2WD in the AX, and Blake Pearce sneaking 1/100th of a second ahead for top 2WD on Sunday.

Entries Open - Twilight KX (3rd August) & Autocross (4th August)

Supp Regs have been approved for our upcoming Twilight Khanacross and Autocross. Paperwork attached - please let Tim know when submitting your entry if you would be interested in catering on the day. We also require volunteers for time keeping on both days.

Don't forget to get your headlights and at least one rear facing tail light working in time for the Twilight and make sure you read the Supp Regs regarding mud flaps and fire extinguishers as well.

Thanks to Tim, Rex, Iain & Paul for volunteering their services again so we can go racing.
