BORMSA Autocross Results 12 July 2015

Thanks to everyone who headed to Beverley for a great day of racing at the BORMSA Autocross on Sunday. After a chilly sub-zero start, competition heated up with Lee McIlroy taking the win from Ben Wilson in the 4WD category; Adrian Stefan first 2WD home followed by first Junior Brock Nicoli in 4th outright. The juniors are giving the adults a run this year, taking out 4 of the Top 10 places. With less than one second between many positions, competition was close, with battles between Shayne & Tim a spectator highlight.

ENTRIES ARE OPEN! Autocross on Sunday 12 July

Entries are open for the next BORMSA Autocross on Sunday 12 July; please read the Regs carefully as there are a few changes. Since BORMSA members have been missing out on racing this year, the event is club only with full/junior/family memberships required. PLEASE fill out your 2015 entry forms in their entirety (with the exception of the signatures, which can be done on the day) as this helps the officials prepare for the event and allows the AX to start on time for maximum runs. Entries can be sent to or PO Box 1956, West Perth WA 6872.

Entering BORMSA Events

The BORMSA Entry Form has been standardised as a fillable PDF for 2015 to make entering events easier. As per the Supp Regs, ALL details need to be completed for an entry to be accepted, with the exception of the signatures, which may be completed on the day. A complete form makes life easier for the officials who are making it possible for the event to run and mean Start Lists, paperwork and results sheets can be prepared prior to the event and that documentation flows smoothly.

BORMSA Autocross Results - Saturday 13 June

Another strong field of 40 entries including 9 juniors took to the BORMSA track on Saturday 13 June for the Club's first Twilight Autocross. A lack of rain in the lead up to the event - plus new track material - resulted in rather dusty conditions! Due to safety concerns requiring single runs only after dinner, 3 tests were held in total. Congratulations to our prize winners, Lee McIlroy who came home first outright in the WRX, followed by Tim Ralli (first 2WD and 2nd outright) in the Lancer and Archa Oxley as 1st junior (and 5th outright).
